Because it's Cool to Wear Bikinis in September

Happy Monday! Did you hear about my announcement?!!

I'm competing in Miss Fitness America's Bikini competition in Las Vegas this November. WOOO HOOO! And I'm sooo excited to be working alongside the fabulous trainer, Ashly Kristine to get my abs and bod in tip top shape. Follow her on Facebook HERE!

Below are my workouts with Ashly and the ones I do alone. Feel free to follow along! MUAH!

 Monday- I'm really enjoying easing into my Monday, so lets do some light stretching and this killer ab workout with former Miss Bikini America, Lori Harder! Click HERE!

Tuesday- Join me for dance class at Hipline in Oakland. NEW time of 8:30a! Don't live in Oakland? Find a dance class in your area to get your groove (and fitness!) on! 

Wednesday-And my first ab blasting circuit workout with Ashly is today! YAY!

30 sec jog in place
20 Front Punchs ( 20 Right, 20 Left)
20 Front Punch Burn out (1 Right, 1 Left)
20 Side Punch ( Right arm cross over body punching in left direction,
Left arm crossing over body punching to right
direction) (20 Right, 20 Left)
20 Side Punch Burn out (1 to Right, 1 to Left)
20 Upper Cuts ( 20 Right, 20 Left)
20 Upper Cuts Burn out ( 1 Right, 1 Left)
Repeat ^ once more before moving to next section... 30 sec jog in place....

30 sec Jumping Jacks
10 front kicks (1 Right, 1 Left)
10 back kicks (1 Right, 1 Left)
Repeat ^ once more before moving to next section.. 30 sec Jumping Jacks

30 sec High Knees
20 crunches
20 cross crunch ( 20 Right foot on Left Knee, 20 Left foot on Right knee)
Repeat ^ once more before moving to next section.. 30 sec High Knees

Thursday- Rest Day!

Friday- Another fabulous workout day with Ashly. Here is the workout below! Ab blasting circuit...lets go!

20 Jumping Jacks

20 High Knees

5 Burpees

20 Crunches

40 Russian twists

30 sec side planks (each side)

30 sec straight plank with feet together

20 Bicycles (each side)

30 Mt. climbers..... Time to reverse.....

20 Bicycles (each side)

30 sec straight plank with feet together

30 sec side planks (each side)

40 Russian twists

20 Crunches

5 Burps

20 High Knees

20 Jumping Jacks

Saturday- I loove this workout!  Its Blogilates Bikini Blaster!! Lets do this fabulous bikini workout. TWICE. Click HERE

Sunday- Sadly, I won't be teaching this weekend because I booked an event with Toyota (exciting!!). It's going to be a busy day, but we can fit in a twelve minute workout, right? Twelve Minute madness...LETS DO THIS! Click Here!

Workout Schedule August 26-September 1

Happy Monday! Here is my workout schedule this week! Its all about abs this week!

 Monday- I'm taking it easy today! Light stretching in the morning and Blogilates' abs on fire video! Click HERE

Wednesday- Lets workout with the FIERCE Jillian Michaels in this ab blasting cardio workout video. Ohhh yea! Click HERE! Then, lets follow it up with some heavy duty abs from the lovely ladies of Tone It Up! Click HERE.

Thursday- Usually today is my day off. But, since I took it easy on Monday lets go for a 4 mile run. YAY!

Friday- Yoga. Find a class in your area or check out this video! Morning Flow Video. Then doing some more abs with the Blogilates babe! Click HERE

Saturday- Going for a quick easy run around the lake. Who knows for how long? ;) Where are you running today?

Sweaty Workouts to Get Rid of the Holiday Sluggishness

July 4th. Full of sunshine, laughter, good times, great company, lots of delish food and LOTS of libations. 

If you're like me, you probably indulged a little bit and didn't workout all that much. And that's ok. At least that's what I tell myself. 

My bod feels a little a sluggish so I'll be kicking it up a notch this week. In addition to my normal routine, I'll add a few more bikram yoga sessions to get a full cleanse. If you haven't read my post about the beauty of bikram yoga, check it out HERE. It literally changed my life!

Below is my workout this week. Feel free to join in and knock out some of the leftover holiday grime!

  1. Monday:  Bikram Yoga or 22 minute HIIT workout, Blogilates 10 minute ab video and stretch
  2. Tuesday: AM- Teach Dance Class at Hipline Studio, stretch. PM-3 mile jog and stretch
  3. Wednesday: Bikram Yoga or HIIT workout,  Blogilates Muffintopless Video, Stretch
  4. Thursday: AM- Bikram Yoga or 22 minute HIIT workout. PM- 3 mile jog, lunges, stretch
  5. Friday: AM- Bikram Yoga or HIIT workout, PM-5 mile bike ride, stretch
  6. Saturday: 5 mile run, Victoria Secret Ab Workout, stretch
