Oh, and check below for what my two fave foodie bloggers had to say about their top picks.
It’s that time again… With over 50 restaurants offering $20, $30 and $40 prix fixe menus, there are lots of opportunities for discounted deliciousness during Oakland Restaurant Week. It’s the perfect time to go back to your favorite restaurant or check out the new place you’ve had your eye on. Some deals are good and some are really good. The restaurants that caught my eye includeJuhu Beach Club (4 courses, including Chicken Curry for $30), Bellanico (4 courses, including Grana Padano Sformato for $30), Marzano on Park (3 courses, including Tuscan Kale Pizza for $20). @eastbaydish

Oakland Restaurant Week is kicking off Friday, January 17. It’ll last for ten days, bringing special prix fixe dinners and lunches for $20, $30, and $40 at more than 50 restaurants in Oak-town’s hopping dining scene. A few items that caught my eye: salad, small deep dish, and a brownie sundae at The Star on Grand for $30; a cocktail and salumi platter for $20 at Adesso on Piedmont Avenue; chicken tortilla soup, enchiladas mole, and churros at Rumbo al Sur in Glenview for $30. @diablodish
