It's the most wonderful time of the year!

Well, one of the most wonderful times. The NFL Playoff season kicked off last weekend and I CAN.NOT.WAIT for this weekend's games.

Living in the Bay Area, I am happy to support the 49ers. But as a former Indianapolis Colts Cheerleader, I will ALWAYS BLEED BLUE!

If you're in Oakland and looking for a hot spot to catch the game, check out these fabulous places to get drinks, food and watch the game on the big screen!

Peach Cobbler Martini- Halftime Sports Bar

Peach Cobbler Martini- Halftime Sports Bar

Halftime Sports Bar- 316 14th Street. First of all, they have a Peach Cobbler Martini.  Need I say more? With nearly 10 flatscreens, tasty and affordable food and drinks, and A+ service, Halftime is one of my fave places to check out the game with a few friends. Warning- be sure to get there at least 30 minutes early to make sure you get a seat!

The New Parkway- 474 24th Street. By far, one of the chillest pubs I have ever been to. It's a community-centered cinema/pub in Uptown full with comfy couches and tables for seating. On game day, they sell tickets for $6. No cocktails :( But, they do have a fabulous housemade sangria, popcorn and the friendliest staff.

Popcorn, beer and Sangria at The New Parkway. My boyfriend was all smiles at the beginning. Sorry Packers fans!

George & Walt's- 5445 College Ave. Ok, so this is a Packers bar. BUT, everyone in the Rockridge area seems to love it. You can't go wrong with a juke box and full bar! I haven't visited yet, but will check it out during this playoff season. If you go, let me know what you think!
